Default I am so glad I can sew!

Tonight I hemmed 6 pairs of pants for the girls. 3 were new and a couple were Katie's old pants I hemmed for Amanda. I am so glad I can do this and save money! One pair of jeans had these cute flowers at the bottom. I had to cut them off to do the hem. So, I made the cut off piece into a little purse for Amanda.

Yes, sewing is a great skill.
I wish I knew how to sew and do other "homearts" like knitting etc. I am a complete arts and crafts klutz.
Anything I hem or patch looks very amateurish. Sigh.
