    Smile Need Pricing Help On Red Heart Yarn

    I know this will vary from place to place, but I know very little about yarn, and even less about how much skeins cost. How much does a skein of red heart (3.4 oz acrylic) typically cost? How about 8 oz skeins?

    I'm looking to get some on Ebay, but I don't know what a good deal is.

    Around here (Central IL) Walmart sells the smaller skeins for $2.29 and the larger ones for $3.69

    Chelle, I haven't bought the small ones in forever so can't help you there. Our Wally's sells RH 8 oz. solids and 6 oz. varigated for $2.19 and I have bought it on sale in AC Moore's for 2/$3.

    Maybe so, but I would save on gas money (the nearest one is about 15 miles away), and I wouldn't have to fight the crowds, and that is priceless to me

    lol, sorry yes it is a store, it is a branch of shopko i think. ususally only found in towns under 10,000 population.
