    Default More gifts finished!

I was able to finish the socks for my sister, made from Patons Kroy stripes yarn. Bought to make myself socks, but figured I would just give them to her.

Also finished the hat and scarf for my nephew. When I finished the first hat I realized it was too small, so it will go to my other nephew, and knit the bigger one! Both brothers now have matching hats!

Next project is a rolled brim hat for my DD's teacher that I started last night. After that I'm not sure what I'll do, but I'm thinking of knitting family stockings.

    Beautiful, Cindy.

What kind of yarn is the scarf/hat set? It seems lusterous.

The yarn for the hats/scarf is Red Heart Soft Touch... bought at Walmart! It's very very soft to the touch, a nice yarn to work with.

I finished a rolled brim hat tonight out of different acrylic, and even though I thought it was very soft, its not nearly as nice as the soft touch. I'll post pics of it once I make the scarf done to go with it.

Oooh Cindy, you're good! Those are wonderful!
If I recieved those socks, I'd have a hard time wearing them~ I'd probably want to frame them, lol. They are so cool!

I'm a slave to the self striping yarns. LOVE them!!

The Red Heart was so nice to work with. I would have bought more yesterday, but I'm trying to be good and go through my stash of UFO's, determine what can be finished and what yarns can be recycled and get some of that cleared up too.

I've been working on a few more projects. I finished a hat and scarf set for DD's teacher, a hat for a friends little guy (she couldn't find royal blue, so I have toss the hat in the dye pot for a bit to make it a bit bluer yet), and DH asked if I could make a hat and scarf for his mom too, in addition to the clogs, so that hat is on the needles.

    The needles are MELTING! LOL!!!!
