We are always trying to find things for the children at my sons elementary school. We live in a very cold climate, upstate NY across the river from Canada, and are always looking for hats, mitten, coats and boots for the children to be able to play outside. This is a very low income area and with the price of heating we're trying to help out the families as much as we can. There must be schools in your area with the same situation isn't there?

Pine Ridge reservation is always desperately in need of warm items. I make stuff year round to send.. . . hats, mittens, afghans, scarves, slippers, socks-- and household items like potholders, towel toppers, throw rugs.
