    Default Any of you ever use the BLEACH TEST?

    Here it is:

    To tell if your yarn is a natural fiber, put a piece of it in a jar of bleach overnight.

    If it dissolves, it's natural.

    I tried some mystery yarn this morning, and it's already dissolved. Now I'm going to try w/ some that I'm pretty sure is acrylic.

    Then I'll use the bleach to clean my sink!

    I'd never heard of the bleach test. I don't think I'll need to test my yarns, almost all of it is acrylic lol. Now, when/if I manage to score some deals at the thrift store or estate sales...I'll have to keep it in mind
