    Default The ultimate compliment

Remember when I was knitting that pair of socks for DH's grandpa for Christmas? MIL had told DH "well, he probably won't like them, so don't be disappinted if he's that way". Well, he just got them apparently, and DH's mom called in a panic asking if I can knit MORE socks for him, since he's instisting on throwing out all his other socks and wearing only mine!

So I need to finish off the sock I was knitting for DS, and then I'll be in sock mode for Grandpa again! Luckily I have lots of that same yarn in the house, so I can just knit 2 or 3 more pairs from the same yarn so if he wears a hole in one, he's not out a pair until I can get them back for darning.

MIL offered to pay me to make them, but eh, for Grandpa, its a labour of love.
