Did the Kitchner (sp) stitch get easier? I thought of a better way to explain it (for me to understand it) than the tutorial did.

Step 1: Front knitting needle, insert tapestry needle purlwise into the first stitch. Draw the yarn through, leaving the stitch on the knitting needle. Pull snug.

Go under the front knitting needle. In back knitting needle, insert tapestry needle into the first stitch knitwise. Draw the yarn through, leaving the stitch on the knitting needle. Pull snug.

Step 2: Front knitting needle, insert the tapestry needle knitwise and slide the stitch off the knitting needle and onto the tapestry needle.
Still on the front knitting needle, insert the tapestry needle purlwise into the next stitch (on the front knitting needle). Draw the yarn through the stitch, leaving the stitch on the knitting needle. Pull snug.

Step 3: Back knitting needle, insert the tapestry needle purlwise into the first stitch on the back needle and slide the stitch off the knitting needle and onto the tapestry needle.
Still on the back knitting needle, insert the tapestry needle knitwise into the next stitch (on the back knitting needle). Draw the yarn through the stitch, leaving the stitch on the knitting needle. Pull snug.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the very last two stitches.

For the last two stitches, insert the tapestry needle into the stitch on the front needle knitwise and into the stitch on the back needle purlwise and draw through. Pull snug.
