Reverse Single Crochet
I haven't really had a chance to do a thorough search of this stitch. I am guessing it is just a sc worked in the opposite direction. Is this correct?

you know, I have seen the term before, but nerver used the stitch. Let me see if I can find something that shows the stitch being done.

It helped alot. I had the basic concept of it!!
I found it a little hard to manuever, but once you get it going, it became easier!!

I missed this being gone today

Reverse SC is difficult for me too...it goes against everything lol. But the effects are very neat!

It really does look neat
I think it is also called the crab stitch, I think I read that somewhere
When I first started into that stitch it took me more try's than I want to admit to get the first stitch done
Once I was able to get going with it I was good to go until I would have to stop that stitch for a little while than go back to it. I'm having fun with it though!!

I always get the reverse sc on edges like dishclothes, etc.
I think there is a similar stitch in the bigger ones, like double & treble crochet. But it comes out more like an "x" because you skip one stitch, dc (or treble crochet) in the next, then you go back and do a dc (or treble) in the stitch you skipped. Really cool effect!

I do the reverse sc a lot in edging afghans as I don't care for fringe. When I first learned how to do it, it was called the "rope stitch" so that is what I refer to it as.
