    Unhappy Taking the Plunge

    ......because the last one isnt' working out so well....

    It looks like I'm going to be single again. So I'm staying with family for now until I can get myself independant again. I've been housewifing for the past 3 years and looking for work is a little daunting.

    However, I've got enough money right now to buy 50lbs of alpaca fibre to spin. I think I can turn that around in about 4 months. I've applied for work around town - there is lots out there, but this will allow little bits of $ to trickle in while I"m getting myself set up. I'm ordering it as we speak. It will also give me lots to do during the next little while which I'll need as some distraction. I can work, but then I have the evenings to spin spin spin. I think I can do about a lb a day depending on how fine the yarn is.

    My plan is to dye it, spin it up, and sell it on ebay, at the local knitting stores and put an ad in the local paper. Any other suggestions from anyone?
