Umm...confused about crocheting!!
HI everyone, I am learning how to crochet and I want to make a blanket...but I can't seem to visualize a blanket coming out of a crochet needle..lol
The granny square confuses me so much, so do you know any tutorials or patterns for a really easy blanket???

I think ripple afghans are some of the easiest to do. . . here's a pattern link:

Here's an easy pattern that some of my friends have made (it's not my style though):

This one is pretty easy, and works up fast:

the easiest blanket that I have ever made was a scrap blanket. you chain loosely about 150 chains, then single crochet in each chain across...chain 1, then turn - single crochet in each single crochet across. Just keep repeating this pattern until you have 325 rows...then single crochet all around the blanket for an edge. Very simple and a great way to use up all the scraps in your stash. These blankets turn out really neat b/c of all of the various colors & lengths of your scraps. this pattern will fit across a full sized bed with enough length to tuck under the foot of the mattress when you make your bed
hope this helps.

The easiest blanket I ever made was rows and rows of single stitches. I did about 6' rows of purple, blue, lighter purple over and over again. There was no fiddling around, just straight singles thewhole way through. It turned into a very nice blanket.
