    Default How long?

How long have you been knitting and what is your most difficult project to date? I have only been knitting for a couple of years and I haven't really tried anything that difficult yet. I get intimidated so easy and have decided to give something more challenging a try. I just can't decide which project yet....LOL Too many I want to do.

I started knitting when I was 8 - but didn't knit for YEARS while in high school, college, and raising small children. My mom taught this leftie to knit right handed, so it's always been work. . . then I had a stroke- so it's even more difficult for me.

I've recently been trying to make myself knit, but only very easy patterns-- hats, scarves, and currently have a shrugall on my needles.

I have been knitting about three years now. The first year was a lot of needle throwing & swearing lol. Last year I made scarves, socks, a baby sweater, LOTS of dishcloths, and hats. This year I made dh's sweater, am tackling lace (very easy so far) and felting. I'd also like to try more complicated socks, I've only done plain ribbing & stockinette foot kind of socks. I want to make a pair of Jaywalkers for myself.

Oh & mittens, I want to make mittens.

Is it any wonder I have about 5 projects going at a time

    Sunshine,
I know that knitting after after a stroke is a struggle. My step daughter had a stroke when she turned twenty five and hasn't really been able to knit since then. It seems like something that would help with renewing fine motor skills.

    Heather,
That almost sounds like me...LOL Except I haven't even attempted the sweater yet, but I have so many things i want to try and can't decide which one yet...LOL I have had as many as three on needles at one time though.
