    Smile What is everyone crocheting?

I need some encouragement, I seem to be lacking motivation!

I'm still working on a Harry Potter, Griffendor scarf for my son. I only do a couple of rows at a time, so I think it will take me a year to finish it.

I have an afghan that I have been working on for the last couple of years. I only work on it in the winter and I just keep plugging away each winter, someday I will have it finished. I started it when we lived in our previous house and so I did it in greens and now in our new home my living room is navy blue and white so I guess it will eventually be a gift for my Mom.

Well since I am new to this and can so far only do rectangular or square things, I am making a scarf for my friend for Christmas. A neat gift for her, and it helps me keep my sanity, I find it very calming just sitting and crocheting.

Well I'm kinda in the same boat. I keep starting a project and then deciding halfway through I don't want to finish it! I do have a pattern for stockings that I would like to make but I need to get the right yarn for it. I'm also working on a bed jacket for my mil. And I want to make a cable purse for myself and letter pillows for my girls for Christmas. Are you a Crochetville girl?? if not lots of ideas there too! (crochetville.com)

me too! I can only do things with straight edges. The afghan stitich is the easiest for me to do so far.

I have been working on two afghans for my Mother-in-law and my husband. They are both big Viking fans so the colors are dark purple and gold.
Both afghans are very large because both of them like to roll up like a burrito in them!
I have to be honest, I will be glad when both of them are done!

I am working on purple and green dishclothes for my kitchen. I painted it purple and decided to go with a vineyard theme.
