yours is my favorite knitting blog. I really need to find a way to corral the kids so i can knit more. I'd like to tackle more complicated projects someday.

Hey Heather, those are some very pretty yarns you go there. Do you ever shop online? If you are yarn challeneged, as in no good places to shop, then I would try some of those.
Also, I have found that Lion Brand Homespun is better for crochet projects than knitting, so I can agree with you about it. I make a nice warm crocheted triangle shawl with homespuna nd believe me it is warm. I always end up tying the end into a small knot so it doesn't get a weird on me. I woin't buy it anymore, but will use what I have in projects like that.

That shawl is gorgeous! I have been occupying myself with a basic knit and purl because..., well, ... thats all I can do so far! LOL. But you continue to inspire me. Thank you.

Maybe you should consider getting a wheel and spinning your own. I bet you would be good at it. Remember I told you about my friend that is a fantastic knitter and teaches now? Well, when she tried spinning she found out she was good at that too. Now she spins, plys, dyes and knits it all. She loves it! Infact, she is so fast and good at that I bet she would give "Lily Chin" a run for her money. LOL Anyway, you remind me a lot of my friend.

I'm going to try dyeing yarn first. I'm saving up for some KnitPicks Bare. Then I'm going to try Kool-aid, then maybe KnitPicks acid dyes. I wonder if something like Patons Classic Wool, the undyed 'white' one, would hold a dye...

Heather love the babys sweater, the material u used by the sound of it, didnt have any fun with. The scarf is the same pattern Im usin for my afghan. By the way, i kinds gave the christmas afghan a break heheheheh I cant seem to get the mood of it to the panel Im on now. ILL need to to start a new panel , something with less rows and details I think. and maybe Ill crochet, then It will go faster with smaller hook on it. Ill try to get my oic updated of the new yarn i got and what i finished so far soon. Dang printer ran out of ink .
