    Default Any cross-stitchers out there?

I love to cross-stitch but have been away from it for awhile. I have started back doing small stuff like bookmarks. What projects are you working on?

I used to cross-stitch but I have macular degeneration and my eyes have deteriorated so much I can't see well enough to do it anymore. I really enjoyed it before though.

I've been away from it for awhile myself. I've been thinking of getting back to it though. I love doing bread warmers, tea towels and samplers.

I've only done one crosstitch project...a sampler for my mom a long, long time ago. It was very complicated, and I think it turned me off toward crosstiching. I have a few kits....somewhere....I really meant to do them, but, well, RL interfered.

I love crossstitch, but I can only do the printed type - I can't for the life of me figure out the 'counted' crossstitch

I also love to do crewel & needlepoint projects (again, it's the printed thing)

I'm going to be making a sampler for a friend for xmas. I bought the kit and made it for myself 11 years ago and I have made 4 more since then. I had to get the pattern photocopied last year when I did the last one because the original was ready to fall apart. It's really cute it says "so this isn't home sweet home adjust".
