    Wink Mom's socks

These were so quick to knit it's insane!!

I started the first one yesterday afternoon & finished it by 9pm. I started the second one this morning and finished it this afternoon. And no, I didn't knit nonstop

They are great! What pattern did you use?

I'm a self-taught knitter, and I've yet to tackle socks. I've been teaching our oldest son (10yrs old) to knit, and he's going to be much better than I am. He's knitting a wash cloth for Grandma right now.

They are Thuja socks from Knitty.com

Seriously, they were so easy & quick!! They're done on size 6 dpns, that's partly why they are such a quick knit.

    My 9yo son knits too (and my 15yo & 12yo dds). He's making his grandmother a purse. Green & yellow. I hope she's a Packer's fan

    Thanks! I'm bookmarking that pattern.

That's great that your kids knit, too. I'm sure Grandma will love her purse -- regardless of whether or not she loves the Packers.

Love the colors. They look so warm, makes me want to take up knitting. My mom taught me when I was a kid, but I'd have to learn all over again.
    Nice job!!

I'm so jealous! I crochet and have only found 1 crochet pattern for socks...and I didn't like them. Keep up the good work!
