pink/black socks done
Yah!! I love them! B)

I finished them last night & immediately cast on another pair of Thuja socks. They will be for my youngest dd. I turned the heel this morning and will probably be done with sock #1 by lunchtime

I want them...wow! You did good.
Do you have a pattern, I might give it a go. I haven't knitted in a long time.

How'd you like the Jaywalker pattern?

Bumplett, I cheated
it's self-striping yarn lol.
Lacyj, the pattern is Jaywalker and can be found here:

Earlybird, I found it kind of boring actually
I kept having to take breaks and make other things. (the gi joe pants, the mini sweater, my niece's purse lol). But I really like the finished product.

Those look awesome!! I made a pair out of Yarn Pirate's Earth and Ocean a few months ago and they are wonderful. I love using self-striping yarn for patterns like this (admittedly, I just like using self-striping yarn, but that's a whole other story
)
Lacyj--it runs small. I had to cast on two or three times before I could finally get it over my heel. If you have this problem, there's a link for a bigger copy of the same pattern....google "jaywalker bigger" and click the top link (I don't have enough posts yet to post a URL
)

DH arranged to buy some from her for my birthday. It came yesterday--7 skeins, and only 1 is one that's been around for a while (citron). The rest were BRAND NEW. In fact, only 2 on today's update weren't in the box (aside from the ones she spun) and those were Agatha and Sierra.
Mom got me Canon Beach for my birthday, and I still have Sonoma, Malamute, Patience, Sweet Magnolia, and I'm a member of her sock club, so this month's club colorway.
What colors did you get?
