    Default Dd's Thuja socks

I cast these on immediately after finishing the jaywalkers (pink/black) - on Wednesday night - and finished them last night. They are for my youngest daughter.

I just love this pattern. It is so dang fast. That's the difference between knitting with US1s and US6s

Great job! How are you making them so fast? I would be afraid to even try them!

Wow, I love those! Makes me wish I could knit (I can crochet, but the idea of crocheted socks doesn't sound as comfortable).

This pattern goes by so quickly because it is done on US size 6 needles and slightly thicker than sock-weight yarn. The yarn I used (for both Thujas) *says* it is sock weight, but it is closer to dk or sport weight if you ask me.

I used Moda Dea Sassy Stripes. This color is called "Crush".

Do you have a link for the pattern? I suck at making them up myself. I just finished a sock for my DD last night, I'll post a pic today if I get around to it.

I bought some Scarlet Fleece a few weeks ago and it's almost a DK weight too. The label says fingering, but it's really on the heavy side. I wanted to make "blue jean" socks with them for just hanging around the house, and it seems like that pattern would work out well.
