River Rapids socks done
Pattern found here (pdf file)
I love this pattern!! It was easy to memorize without being boring or tedious. And even though it was done with Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock (very thin yarn) and US size 2 circular needle, it was a very quick knit! I started the first sock Saturday night & finished it Sunday. Started sock #2 Tuesday night & finished it last night. I love how the heels turned out half purple/half blue. So neat!

Looks very nice! I don't understand how you can knit so fast!! Maybe because I'm just learning.

I get that a lot. I must just knit fast, because I don't get a lot of knitting time during the day. Most days I don't even pick up my knitting until after 8pm when the kids are slowing down & getting into their bedtime routine.

They are so pretty, great job! I like the lacy look to them with all the eyelets. Very nice!
It usually takes me a few hours to do the cuff, an hour or two to do the heel, and another few hours to do the foot and close the toe, however with little kids and etc, this might take a few days of a few minutes here and there, so don't be discouraged, Julie! And besides, we all work at our own pace. In the meantime, we all can drool over Heather's work.

I made that pattern in Fortissma Colori Disko (blue with sparkles) and I loved it too. You're right, very easy to memorize, looks a lot more comples than it really is.

Those are so pretty! I wish I could knit better. Maybe one day I'll take it up again and try to learn more.
