Crocheting shorties for ds

Hi!
I want to crochet a pair of shorties (baby wears them over a cloth dipe) :-) I've found one free pattern online that you crochet in a circle and I've tried it a few times but everytime the chain gets twisted when I'm doing my slipstitch so that I can make it into the circle.

Does anyone have any tips or know of a good pattern??

it took lots of practice to get it. i mean lots lol, im a slow learner. but when it finally clicked it was me trying to join it backwards that was causing twisting. My sugestion would be to go at it slow, you'll eventually be able to get it to cooperate. good luck, wish i had more to offer.
