My grandma has been making these kind of recycled bags from grocery sacks. She found that the produce bags give a really cool shimmery effect. However, it takes longer to make because the bags are smaller and it takes a little longer to acquire as many. The whole family has been saving the bags for her. I wish I had a picture to post. It's really cool!

That is so way cool! I'm gonna try this. I have a ton of bags I was gonna take back to recycle at work, but I'm not gonna now.

I really love the idea for a reusable grocery bag made from grocery bags! I think that will definitely be my next project. I hate wasting bags, but I can't find the cash to invest in cloth ones, but I do have the time to make my own!
