    Default Rag Knitting

    http://www.cocoknits.com/knit/interiors/ragbathmat.html

I love this floor mat but don't really know enough about knitting to do a project like this. When I was a kid I used to knit headbands. That's the extent of my knitting abilities.

I think you could do it.
It says you just have to knit, purl & cable.
Cables are the more challenging part... try a sample swatch if you're not comfy w/cables til you get how to... otherwise, I'm sure you can.

the only thing i'd be worried about - since this is a bath mat, that it may slide! I'd buy some kind of rubber matting (you can buy by the yard for cheap or at dollar stores in the kitchen section) & sew it on to the back!
(just dont put it in the dryer!)

    otherwise, go for it!

I really like this project. I think it would be beautiful. Knitting is not that complicated. If you can knit and purl, then you can do it. Seems like it would be worth a try.

I really like the pattern. I can knit and perl but I am not good at cables, I might give this a shot if I can find some cheap twin sheets at the thrift store. Thanks for sharing the link with us.

Very neat, thank you for the link. I don't know how to cable, but if that is what produces the ropey looking thing up the middle, I don't like that part anyway. I think it would look better just plain.
