Okay, so i've gotta few ideas for this year's gifts... however, many are men, and many men enjoy sports.

and some of these men actually have preferred teams.

what i'm looking for is any kind of needle-craft (knitting, crochet, needlepoint, cross stitch, etc.) that has a specific sports theme.

Does anyone know of any sites or books that have team logos or whatever that can be done in a needle-craft?

OR, I do have some graph paper - how can i go about making my own "pattern"?

To make my own patterns -- I print the picture I want, in color. Then I print graph paper on a transparency (can be used over and over). Tape the picture to the back of the graph paper, and you have a cross stitch grid, or crochet graph.

i have heard but not tried, that any thing you can crostitch you can use single crochet and make an afghan.
