WOW! My grandma used to do that. All I have left is a table cloth she made with flowers all over it. You just can't buy that stuff in the stores! You have a great talent!

Those are so pretty. Did you draw the design, or was it a kit? Or Aunt Martha's Iron on Transfers? Also, where do you find your pillow cases? All of the kits that I have seen at Michael's Craft Store were such rough fabric?

Thank you everyone - you're so kind!
They're Aunt Martha's design. The pillow cases came from WalMart! I had done a set of Chihuahua's for my sister-in-law and bought "special" pillow cases in the embroidery section at Joannes and couldn't tell any difference in the materials from there or Walmart. (walmarts is cheaper!)Those are so pretty. Did you draw the design, or was it a kit? Or Aunt Martha's Iron on Transfers? Also, where do you find your pillow cases?
I just read a helpful hint in Jenny Hart's stitching book about taking a needle with you to the store when you're shopping for something to embroider. I had bought some tea towels at walmart and they were horrid to embroider on. Too stretchy. My 10 yo has been using them as practice starters.
