I took my mother shopping this morning and we stopped and this yarn shop that had fantastic stuff!! My mother picked out some mittens that were crocheted and thought that it would be nice to give to her grandkids for xmas next year, until she looked at the price, 45.00 for each pair.

I think I could make her what she wants for a lot less cost but everytime I try to crochet mittens they tend to look lopsided and well ....... not very nice.

Anyone have a pattern for adult size mittens that is easy and that you have had alot of luck making?

If you click on needle arts under hobbies on FV forums there is a sticky that has neat o websites. There are a bunch of websites listed in the posts. I'm sure you could find a pattern on one of them. I've never knitted or crocheted mittens. I would like to try. Maybe one day.
