Central Indiana (which is so not New England) is at max color and beauty right now. Sadly, the weather is not, but the Covered Bridge Festival goes on!!!
PS I have a co-worker who pronounces it 'foilage' and I keep wanting to tell her it has nothing to do with Reynold's wrap!

I love the foliage; it is funny we have one tree in the neighborhood that always ( for 40 years turned about a month prior to the other trees changes color) sure sign fall is coming!
I love Fall.......it is invigorating; and I love one or two snowfalls... with one just stopping time; I think it is the best the unknown day off: from work school housework... it is like a free day for fun with kids; but after that I am done :-) since I have to pay for heating....
Same in CT ~ it seems to be just past peak here but with all the rain (and snow lol) I think I blinked and missed peak foliage this year LOL. It's ok ~ it's almost Halloween - on of my favorite holidays...especially the post-Halloween sales.
I love and miss fall in NE - love the smells and the air. Even a cold rainy fall night has its own mysteries!! Those of you who get to experience fall in NE - please appreciate it for me too!!

It is beautiful here in the north east some of the trees are starting to lose their leaves it was really full explosion beginning the first of Sept.it was like some one threw paint all over the trees. My birthday is in Sept and my grandmother would tell me when the trees change color your birthday is soon.I love it when the trees are in full color.

You will be happy to know I appreciated it all day behind a rake. Helped DH get rid of a tree for my dad too. It was leaning towards the garage and thought it best to go before winter.
I left here (NH) at peak just starting to go dull foilage and went to Indiana, just past its peak! We got back and the only real color was the bright yellow, the rest was browning.

I'm in Nj too: (Cumberland County), and I have to agree that it is just beautiful. Of course I live on a wooded lot and have a path to walk on through the woods. I love walking in the woods as the leaves are falling We have many gum trees in our yard. They are very pretty, they have yellow, orange, red and purple leaves right now. I love the fall
I love the warm fall days...which we have had a few of them and its been great (in the 60's today) . Trees have pretty much dropped all their pretty colors and we are out there like crazy picking it all up. Thats the part that makes me sigh that I live here. I am NOT a fan of the snow but oddly enough I am looking forward to it this year. Especially with the river that runs behind the house--its so pretty out there.
