the blizzard...

[COLOR=dark-blue]How's everyone dealing? I actually like the snow when my family is all home (which they are) and we have no place to go (which we don't)
My daughter's birthday party was actually planned for today and we had to call everyone yesterday to postpone until next week. Her birthday is the day after Christmas and we usually wait until after the holidays are over before we plan her party. Now she has to wait again [/Color]

[COLOR=dark-blue]She's a good sport and one of her friends spent the night, so I'm sure she'll be fine[/COLOR]

[COLOR=dark-blue] My son also has a friend over who spent the night so it looks like it has the possibility of being a day filled with board games and lots of hot chocolate - it doesn't look like anyone is going home any time soon.[/COLOR]

Hang in there Deb, so gald that you and yours are safe, sound and warm. Coming from So. Cal, I think a wild snowstorm would be so much fun! Happy game day!

I'm used to surviving on my own with the kids during snow. My DH is always out plowing. We have food and everything we need right here. I'll probably cook all day, I love to do that when it is snowing out. I've got my laundry caught up too!

I love the snow as long as I am home and can stay there :~)
So far we will be staying here and I hope that continues....

We have about 12 inches of snow right now, winds about 20-30 mph, its crazy out there!! At least Mike and I are both home, no need to go out anywhere today. It's going to be a nice relaxing day
