Will drivers ignore new phone bans?
Motorists who use cell phones can be ticketed in several more states starting July 1, but low fines and lax enforcement limit some laws' effectiveness. Teens may be the biggest offenders.

Ugh! I SO agree with this "law", but there aren't any more cops put out there to enforce, so I don't think it'll be a deterrant (sp?) to drivers.

You bet they'll ignore it. We almost got run off the road 3 times on Saturday on our way to the shore. Each time, the driver was on the phone, and that law has been in effect here in NJ for awhile now.
