    Default drying beans

I did not get to my soybeans before they started drying out in the garden. I don't think they can be frozen as is. I can't bear the idea of having to use all that produce as just seed. Some seed is needed for next year of course, but I'd like to try and dry the soybeans to use for later. Any suggestions? All I have found so far is using a food drier and I don't have one (don't want to get one at this time either). Any thoughts on how I can do this with little to no equipment.

set them out on a tray of some sort in the sun off the direct ground , something vented on the bottom would be best..., bring in in the evenings or if it is real high humidity..., stir them around occasionally... do this until they dry ...

And then store them in a canning jar, maybe? Thanks for the advice! I've never had dried soybeans. There's a first time for everything!

Why not just let them dry on the vine? That is the usual method of drying beans to be stored as dried beans/peas and is what most do. When well dried just pick the pods, put them in a bag of some type and thresh. Store the beans in a jar with lid, out of the direct sun. They will store for years.
