Canning Classes may be available in your local area!
Ball's website has a list, organized by state, of places offering canning classes. I'm hoping some of you may be able to take advantage of these opportunities - it's such a great skill to have!

Due to budget cuts, the Illinois Extension office is phasing out the Master Food Preserver in July 2011. I don't know if there will be any classes offered this year or not. If I find any, I'll try to sign up for them for sure.
