3- 2 cup containers of tonight's supper, pantry soup. Tomato & rice based, with some ground beef. Turned out rather well. Figure it will do for those lunches or suppers paired with a sandwich for DH or our oldest when they want something hearty and I'm only up for making sandwiches.

My freezer if full of non-prepared meal items. I can see preparing ahead might be a good idea. I've done OAMC in the past when the girls lived here. But with just DH and I it seemed a bit redundant.

Still, DH works one night a week, and it's nice to have something to take out and eat that evening. Plus I sometimes get so busy we choose to go out to eat. Wouldn't hurt to have something in the freezer again...in individual serving sizes.

Currently I have a lot of cooked beans, chicken and beef stock in the freezer, along with tomatoes, green peppers, grated cheese, chicken bones to make more stock, strawberries, rhubarb, bagels (50% sale), raspberries, hamburger, pork tenderloin, chickens, etc... Doesn't seem like much, but it's a small freezer and it's pretty full.

Add zucchini, peaches, and more rhubarb to that. And leftover baking from a sale that has to go!
