Jar Sealer or Oxygen Absorber
If I am storing dehydrated food in a mason jar, is it better to use a jar sealer, like the one on a foodsaver, or an oxygen pack...or both?
Sorry, I am really new to this.
Thank you

It seems to me that the O2 pack is overkill, since there's not much O2 in the vacuum. I've got a Foodsaver and store dry food. I mostly re-use our Ball lids and I have a couple dozen re-usable (Tattler) lids. If you use the Tattler lids, dampen the rubber before using - it will seal better.

I use both when I seal in the bags, I don't use the oxygen absorbers when I use the jar sealer.
