    I have about 4lbs giving to me. Any ideas how I can preserve these.

    crab apples?

    i would make jelly.
    11% gross to retirement
    10% takehome to tithe and offerings
    emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
    freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

    i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

    I got a laugh out of this too! I was thinking we always make applesauce with our crappy apples. Just save what we can of the apple.

    What a typo! I used to make crabapplesauce and canned crabapples to go with ice-cream. Yum! You can also make crabapple bounce if you're into alcoholic beverages, but I've no idea how to do that.

    It was a good mistake. I really needed a chuckle when I first read the thread. I was having a bad day that day. It gave me a pretty good chuckle. Crap did apply that day...

    They are "crab apples".

    But, you know, sometimes, "crap applies" is very true.
