    Default Strawberry Jam

The weather has finally cooled down a little here, and I this morning I canned 13 jars of strawberry jam! Yipee! I picked the berries last week, froze them, and waited for the weather to cool down a bit. This morning was the perfect morning. I just love to look at those jars of jam sitting on my cupboard.

That's so awesome. I wanted to go and pick strawberries, but it just didn't happen. Strawberry jam is so yummy too.
I might make it to go blueberry picking. I don't like them as much though.

Wow that's awesome Good job. Canning/preserving is something I've wanted to try for a long time, but I never seem to get around to it.

That is so cool! I bought a couple of cases of canning jars at an estate sale in the spring and had all intentions of doing strawberries and blueberry jams--best laid plans huh?
