I made a huge triple batch of spaghetti sauce from garden fresh tomatoes and froze two of three quarts. Now I have sauce for the month. I have never really done once a month cooking, but would like to try it some time. I should think it would be nice to have everything planned way ahead. I am still having trouble with menu planning past a few days..LOL

I make large btaches of meatballs in advance(cooked) and make hamburger patties, (uncooked). I try to make enough spaghetti sauce in large quanities. I buy cheapest stuff on sale and add the spices i want and meat and veggies to it. Then freeze. i make biscuits and cinnmaon rolls(same dough recepie).

I use my own tried and true recipes for oamc cooking. Oamc is not the time to try new things that the family hasn't "approved". Only my opinion, I like to place on our menu things I know we like. Then I don't waste time, or money during the big marathon cook.
