Kicking Some Clutter A$$

Oh yeah, it's been a busy morning around here. Did lots of stuff that I've already written in my blog, but the busiest and best part of the morning was the decluttering and cleaning I did in my basement.

My basement/laundry room is pretty good sized, and one of the reasons I loved the house was the built in shelving for storing my stockpile. Unfortunately, we moved in kinda quickly two years ago, and then were displaced from the kitchen while it was being worked on, and my big, beautiful (okay, not beautiful) storage space was cluttered up with junk and over the past two years, got all cobwebby and I haven't really been utilizing it well. It's always on my list of projects, but I never quite get to it.

So, today, I did it. Clutter, dust, cobwebs, trash...LOOK OUT!

I threw away an enormous trash bag of stuff, used the vacuum cleaner to suck out all of the cobwebs, rearranged the storage, and am feeling really good about the space again. Dh really needs to work on his workbench, which is off to the side, but that's his stuff and I'm not messing with it. Hopefully he'll get to it next weekend. We shall see. If not, I'll press for him to do it during the commercials during Sunday football in the fall. Bit by bit, it will get there!

Had to get it ready now, because I've got 13 coupons coming to me, each one for 5 free 2-liter bottles of Coca-Cola. That's 65 bottles of Coke coming to my house by Thursday (they expire 8/31) and I had nowhere to put them. Now I do!

YAY Amy!! Having room for all that stuff is sure a good feeling.

I hit my kitchen recently, and I want to hit the pantry. Little by little.

Wow, Amy, that's great. All that pop for free is great!! I'm working on the declutter thing myself. Finished the kitchen and living room and am working on the bedroom.
