    He's very cute.

If he's anything like my 6 lb. poodle pal regarding the lab....when dd brings her 80lb boxer over my poodle is absolutely the alpha. Ofcourse she has to stand on the recliner to get into the dominating postion (the be above eye level)...but she's the alpha alright. That boxer could eat her in 2 bites, literally.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

I hear ya there. I miss my pets too, but I can't justify the cost of having a pet here.... they want $250 refundable deposit and then a yearly $150 non-refundable fee for 1 dog; they want $150 ref. deposit and then a yearly $100 non-ref. fee for 1 cat (1 dog OR 1 cat limit) in the apartments we're in.... plus the town requires licensing and rabies and such for both dogs and cats. I can't even have a bowl of fish (ya know, the guppy kind of bowl) without a deposit... UGH. Unfortunately that just isn't in the budget.

But, anyway YankeeMom... have fun with your new poochie. He looks like he would be a lot of fun for you and the kids.

Oh, what a cutie! I love the name you gave him..
