Off to the Vets
Hi everyone:
My Little Girl still isn't eating. She eats the gravy of what's been given to her (very little but not the actual food). The vet said if she hasn't started to eat by noon today, I'm to take her in. I need your thoughts and prayers as I've never had a good result come from a cat not eating. Thank you.

Good luck. We recently had a dog thaty would not eat. She wound up with an intestinal virus. All ok now, so keep your chin up. It might be something simple.

Hoping Little Girl recovers well and quickly. I have had one case where the ending was tragic, but three where it was a happy one and the situation was trivial - I am wishing you one of the latter types. It is still important to get to the vet because they can get dehydrated if they aren't drinking enough either - one of mine had a bug bite in his mouth that kept him from eating or dinking for a couple of days and then cleared up just fine, but he had to be on an IV until his mouth was ok to drink.

What news, if any?
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Little Girl is fine in all aspects except for not eating. The vet gave her an appetite stimulator which didn't work yesterday. I'm waiting to phone her at 8:00 a.m. to give her a report. The next step may be bloodwork and/or an x-ray.
Thanks everyone.
