Rescued a kitten today
My DH and I were out fishing and I heard an noise on the river bank so we went over to the edge and we found a kitten. Where we found it there is no road atleast a mile away, no camps, or houses, it was all woods. Somebody must have dropped it off and it made its way to the water. The poor little bugger was so hungery and scared!! We are going to keep it but we can't figure out what to call it. I would like to get some ideas on what to name it. I would like to give it a special name because it was a strange on how we found it. Like I said it was in the woods and no where to go. Does anyone have any names? Thanks

Aww...I'm so glad you were able to rescue him.
I think the October/Toby name is really cute. The name "Toby" means "God is good."

What a lucky kitty. Thank you for rescuing him.
I am clueless when choosing names until I know what the personality is like. No hurry for a name though just yet... so see how he fits in and then decide. The Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.

What a lucky day for that little kittie!
As for names...how about elbie? Which is actually LB. Which is actually short for 'little bugger'....from your original description of him.

I had a Toby too, a sweetheart of a cat, the best I ever had. It seems to be an auspicious name!

Thank everyone for the great names. I seemed to forgot to tell you that SHE is a tiger gray/brown kitty. She did such a great job last night eating, using the kitty box and eating. I have to giggle last night I fed her (just a little so her belly would not get upset) and it looked she had a little ball in her. She is a really sweet kitty. I just can't believe that we found her because like I stated where we found her was out in the middle of NOW WHERE. This kitty had to do some traveling just to get to the water. I am surprise that the wild animals did not get her because we have alot of coyotes around.

You could call her River or Brook. I bet she's a little sweetheart and I know she'll be a very lucky kittie to have such loving human caretakers.
Good luck and have fun with her!!!Kim
