    Default Happy news

Misty, our female, had puppies last night. She had 8. All of them are black but one. It is a most beautiful shade of brown. I will post pics a little later, when she is no so skittish.

She had the pups on my oldest daughters birthday. So she wants one, but because of her lease agreement, she can't have dogs. I know that she is going to ask us to keep one for her, knowin my dh, he can't tell her no, he will agree. lol

I am so glad that the labor is over. Now, it's just a matter of letting them get big enough to play with! lol

We wanted the litter. But yes she is going to be spayed, not because we don't want to breed her anymore, but because of medical reasons.

    GSD is the breed.

Have your daughter talk to her leasing agent. 10 years ago, DH and I were living in an apartment, DH was working nights, and he wanted to get a dog to keep me company at night. I went to our leasing agent with a heartfelt story about being lonely, etc. I didn't even have to use it. I told him I knew it said no dogs, but we would really like one, etc. He said, if we put down a little extra deposit (in case of doggy damage) we would be able to get a dog. So we did, and we even got our whole deposit back in the end! So, tell her to ask, no harm in asking!

Glad to hear they are all doing well! Post some pics when you can!
