Exclamation I need your help!

I was adopted by a stray kitten today
Long story short, my husband and I have no idea what to name it!
We've tried coming up with names, but we haven't been able to think of anything we like so far.

The kitty is a male, white with dark orange splotches, and we believe he may have been living in a pile of scrap wood. Check out the link for a picture:

As you can see in the pic, he has already made himself at home. All of our animals are spoiled rotten, LOL.
So...any suggestions?

What a cute little guy! Amazing he's so comfortable with you already enough to sleep in a basket on the first day!

hmm...living in a wood pile...how about Woody for his name?

Very cute. I'm no good at names, though. I named the cat who adopted me "Stupid Feral Cat."

I like woody, but since he was in the scrap pile...I would probably go with "Scrappie"...at least if it fit his personality!

I lived on a farm with tons of cats and here are the three best named cats we had:

Seymore Butts (my brother named that one...he was a Siamese cat, and at the height of Simpsons fame...think Bart calling Moe's tavern)
BHD (short for Bad Hair Day...he was a wild gray cat, with the craziest hair)
Thunder Chicken (that was our last cat and my boys named him...no idea where they got it)

All the rest of my cats over the years blend together, becuase they had "normal" names!

I was going to suggest Woody as well but Momto2Boyz beat me to it. What a cute name!!!! Scrappy is appropriate too!!!

We adopted a little black dog from the pound 4 yrs ago. A chihauhau/min pin mix. He was going to be put down THAT DAY!!!!

Anyway , no name seemed to fit. We even waited to get to know him awhile but always just called him "little dog".(he was soooo tiny). So we finally named him L.D. (Little Dog). He is one of the best dogs I have ever had.
He is spoiled too. We gave him his very own chair in the living room (lol).

What about looking up some names from greek/roman mythology and naming him something from that? Although Woody or Scrappy sounds cute. I tend to name my pets with human sounding names. Don't know why.

I did name the puppy that I rescued Riley, because he now lives "the life of...". He has narrowly escaped death on more than one occasion (including that I picked him up the day before he was scheduled to be put down at the shelter), so maybe I should have named him Lucky.

What a cute little guy! Sometimes it takes us along time to name one of ours. I can give you a couple of mine.

Harley
Taz
Patches
Bandit
Thunder
Sambo
none of those seem to fit yours, good luck, let us know what you name him.
