Update on Tucker
We took Tucker to the Vet today to have him checked out by his regular vet. If you read my other post about Cooper, Tucker's brother, then you know that he was also knicked in the accident. Tucker received three staples to close a gap in the skin on his back leg.
He still is not himself. I am wondering if it is because of his injuries or the loss of his brother or both. He did play with a few toys today, but not for long.
On a side note, we have been looking online for a playmate for Tucker. We noticed something very interesting. There was a Yorkie puppy that was being given away for free. Now a Yorkie usually goes for $1000. Something doesn't add up, but knowing that DD has been wanting a Yorkie for so long, I email them about her.
I recieved a email back from the woman asking questions about our family life to see if the puppy would be a good fit. Fine so far.
Later on in the day my DD was looking online again at puppies, when she noticed on a different website the same puppy to be given away for free. The problem is this puppy was said to be living in the UK. The lady I emailed lived in New York City. We knew it was the same puppy because she was sitting on a kitchen table that had the same table cloth on it and the back ground was in the same room.
I emailed the woman that claims to be in New York and asked her if that was the same puppy to see what her response was going to be. Of course I have NOT heard from her.
My DD is crushed and sooo upset with people right now. She is learning that the real world can be so cruel. She is having a tough week.

Doggone it!
Your Tucker will be lonely for awhile, we gave our dog that was left behind extra time, but because of his a puppy was out of the question so we were his companions for the 2 years we had left with him.
Had he been younger, we would have taken some time to find him a playmate. You'll make the right decision when the time comes and you'll know it's right! The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. -Thomas Jefferson
