New Puppy!!
We went today to the dog pound and found a puppy to adopt. He had an expiration date that was almost up. This will be our first adoption so I hope things go well. I will pick him up tomorrow and bring him home. We found him in Louisville's dog shelter. I saw him on www.Petfinders.com. Our older dog has missed Roman terribly. I have hurt so much watching her at the door waiting for him to come home. The puppy is a four month old bulldog mix. He is black and white and reminds me of Petey on the Little Rascals. I had to share my joy with everyone who shared in my sorrow.

That is exciting. What a very lucky dog to have you and your family rescue him. Congratulations on the addition.

I'm happy for you all and the older dog that's missing her buddy. The pup will help take the edge off of her grief and will bring many laughs and lots of hours of fun and companionship into your home.
Enjoy!

Congratulations on your new addition. I hate to think of how my animals will miss each other when they go. We have 5 and to even lose one will be heartbreaking. I can't wait to see pictures of the little one!

Such good new for your family! It really helps to bring another animal into your family. Our boy really missed his "sister" & it took some time, but the puppy made such a difference. The "puppy" is now 3 1/2 & they're the best of friends. Please share updates.
