Update on our puppy
The lady just sent me new pics of Gizmo. I emailed to see how she was doing, if potty training was progressing. Here is what she wrote:
"hi there!
so far i haven't been putting Gizmo out too much and i will tell you why.
She is too stubborn as yet to go down the stairs or come up on her own. if you stand there with yours hands on each side of her she will run up and down but the thing is to catch her outside!!!
She lays like a cat stalking a bird watching us get close to catch her and just when we are close enough that we can just about grab her.... she runs and i swear i can hear her laughing and saying "catch me if you can."
When she is in the house she will come to get pets and cuddle's but put her loose outside and good luck.
I have finally decided i would outsmart her and put her on a leash so she has to come..... but i think she must have either hid it on me or something, as it's not where i put it last.
so it seems she is still having the last laugh.
i am planning on rectify that as quickly as possible either by buying another leash for the little monster to hide on me or using a rope if nothing else.
I laughed sooo hard. Because this is like Bella. We were camping and she got off the deck loose. Dh went after her, and Bella pranced, and I do mean that prissy little prance, just fast enough to keep ahead of dh, but not so far that she'd get lost or we couldn't see her. He could have skinned her for that. Had she run and gone, he'd have been less upset, but she was keeping ahead, pacing herself to be about 6 feet ahead, so he couldn't grab her. Sounds like Gizmo is cut from the same cloth! Aren't we going to have fun?

Another update.
Am i going to be getting more that I can handle in this puppy? LOL She sounds like a handful, but at 8 weeks, what do you expect? She's not nearly as outgoing as her litter mates, while not timid, just not as adventurous overal, she just loves to be outside.hi! i noticed today as i was chasing bad bad gizmo to put her back in
the house that she has a white circle of hair around her bum. she kinda of
looks like a mule deer with her tail straight in the air.
10 more sleeps....
