Did you love your pet today?
Today, I:
- groomed both bunnies;
- gave my donkey her necessary daily meds;
- fed the parrots pancakes;
- hugged a couple of my hens;
- converted an old parrot playstand to a training perch for the baby chicks;
- put food out for the stupid feral cat;
- gave Herbie (mini-macaw) a new toy;
- gave the bunnies hand-picked greens as treats;
- gave all the chickens corn as a treat.

You bet. I baked fresh doggie treats for my two today and made sure they both got hugs and kind words of approval.

today I plan to bath and groom the dog, and groom my MainCoon cat (she has long hair and has got some knots) However I don't think the dog will think that is very "loving" The dog HATES the bath! She does love the hand held hairdryer though Go figure... LOL!

Both doggers spent quality time with DH while the bridal shower was going on ~ that means they got food off his plate, slept on the bed, all the stuff Mom won't let them do, LOL!

This might be something fun you can share with your kids. For those of you that have smaller children that have a pet, that can understand this I think its a really neat idea and really lets the kids know how much responsibility comes along with a pet.

Our pets are spoiled, but then again I think that is part of making them "family" members..................they need love just like we do.
And always return it unconditionally......Last edited by Patty A; 03-15-2009 at 10:07 AM.

I love on my dog and cat every day. I always make sure to spend time with them. . .petting, talking, playing and cuddling with them.
I love my pets so much that a friend of mine said that when she died, she wanted to come back as one of my pets.

My doggies are just the best! I gave them hugs and kisses like I do everyday, let them out in the yard to do their business, fed them and played with them too!

I do everyday, today some of them got the dirt brushed out of them and they all got treats.

I loved someone else's pets today!! The county called with six cockatiels that had been seized. They had been living in filth, one has an injured foot, and two were picked almost bald from being overcrowded and neglected. All six are currently kicking it in my bedroom, in two separate cages, with toys, fresh water, millet spray, and fresh seed. Pretty good treatment, considering one of them bit the h*ll out of me as I moved him into the cage!!
