Cat - Endoscopy

Has anyone had a cat that has undergone this procedure? My cat is going in next Tuesday for one as she has had vomiting/diarrrea (sp)? and is anorexic at times. Naturally I am a nervous wreck!

I don't really know anything about the procedure but our cat goes through anorexic phases. she didnt for quite a bit when we introduced a new cat and she had to spend five days in the hospital (iv and force feeding) it was quite dramatic on everyone because i mean. we just love her so much and wanted her to just eat and get better. after five days we brought her home and they said we'd have to force fed her or they would need her to come back and as soon as we came home there she was... scratching at the fridge. it was awesome. anyhoot. I will keep your baby in my prayers, keep us updated.

My vet has mentioned this or a similar procedure, but my kitty seems to be holding her own with the current treatment. Honestly, we would try just about anything to get her well, but feel the procedure is unlikely to provide a cure in her case (but each case is different). I understand your concern & hope everything goes well.
