    Default Atlas and Hyperion

Here are my two furbabies. They are both female and both around 1 year old. Atlas is the calico and Hyperion is the torti. We rescued Atlas from a family whose unspayed cat got out and came bag preggo. When we got her they had sprayed perfume on her head, and she was eated up in fleas. She also has a HORRIBLE respiratory infection that took almost a month to clear up. Hype we rescued from the pound. She was in a cage and when I bent down to look at the kittens below her she reached out and tapped me on the head. As soon as we took her out of the cage and held her she INSTANTLY started purring. So, we like to say she chose us.

Pretty kitties! All the cats I've ever had (currently have 6, and 2 big dogs) were strays or rescues.

If only people would spay/neuter their pets.....

I agree, spaying/neutering is the first thing we have done with all of our pets. Growing up all we has were strays and rescues, I've never bought a pet (other than my lizard and fish).

Thanks! We chose Atlas because when she was little her spots seemed to only be on her shoulders...then as she got bigger her spots began to grow...but there's no use in changing her name LOL! Then we decided to stick with the titan theme and go with Hyperion...we picked out the name before we picked out the cat though...so we have the titan of light as the name of our dark cat hehehe!
