Oour kinda new addition. Kinda long
Monday my dh went to work, he works at a sawmill. Someone dumped off a kitten and it had got it'shead stuck in the hhole of a 55 gallondrum. After lots of vaseline theywere able to free the poor thing. Well it attatched itself to my dh. Thursday since it was calling for bad weather and after feeding the kitty muffins every day he decides yes we can bring it home. It aquired the name, Millie the Muffineater. It was trying to eat ants when he would go to lunch. It would actually go to his lunch box when it was lunch time and wait for him. I put it in the sink and cleaned it up and took off a couple ticks. It ate more than my other two cats put together, curled up on my blanket and went to sleep. Well our other two were not impressed with the newest member and turned into the hissy sisters. I was worried about it not going to the bathroom but low and behold it walked to the cat litter and used it. Now this kitty is only maybe 1/12 month old and knew to use the litter. I'm figuring it was a pet and someone got tired of it. (I keep say it because there's so much fur we can't tell yet.) Fast forward to today. My dh says he doesn't like cats. (This is the man who was down on his hands and knees looking for this little critter.) His mom comes over and fell in love with Milo, he is a boy according to her. But then again two of her other cats are name MR.Gracie and Mr. Minnie so I don't know. Milo now has a new home with her and her 6 other cats.
This is Milo.

What a pretty kitten! I'm really glad it found a home. And something a little more nutritious than muffins and ants!

After the little guy left we lost one of the other cats. After two hours we finally found her under the insulation in the attic floor under a piece of plywood. she doesn't like new things as you can tell

Animals really know where to go for food. Glad to hear everything worked out so well for the kitty. Hope you cat calms down now. Mine is seriously p@ssed for two days if she has to be locked up in the bathroom because works needs to be done on the apartment.

Well the transition to Milo's new home went good. All but one of the cats took to him right away. The other one is the newest of the bunch so i think it's a territiorial (sp) thing. Ours ahve settled down but the one we lost hasn't went back upstairs. Neither of ours like any kind of change at all.

My MIL said that every night she gets home from work the cat toy box is tipped over around Milo. So he's having a good time. She said she'll sit down and he'll jump up and sleep on her and they put my old sweatshirt on the back of the chir and he'll sleep there too. So all is well.
