Please say a prayer...
my cat, Little Girl, 15-1/2 is losing her battle with kidney disease. She has not been eating well for about two weeks and is now on an appetite stimulant. If she doesn't respond by Monday, we will have to put her to sleep. This just devastates me.

I was thinking about you the other day and was wondering how you guys were doing, I am so sorry. I will say a prayer for her, and for you.
I know how hard it is to try and make them get better. Have you tried the baby food to try and get her going? It might be enough to get her eating again, mine didnt care for the appetite stimulant, I use to let her lick it off my finger, just a thought.Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.

I'm very sorry, Twinkle. Unfortunately, as our animals' caretakers, we are sometimes faced with the responsibility of deciding when to release them from their pain, even though we aren't ready to lose them. If she doesn't respond to the stimulant, I think it will be her way of telling you that she is ready to go.

Thank you everyone for your prayers and thoughts. This is such a difficult time.
Pinetree - I used to get her to eat boiled chicken (her favourite whenever she was 'finickity') but not this time. She won't touch food - any kind - human or cat.
