Mahalo for sharing them!! What beautiful dogs!! I sure hope that we don't have to post our pictures now for them!!

Nah, He's a teenager. Little kid brain in a adults body. I have an affinity for labs anyway. Well, except "Teddy" the awful dog (and I LOVE animals) my dad brought home from a work friend. He was an outside dog born to an outside mom. HE was wild and a chewer. He ate the cord on my electric blanket, ate my rosewood heels, chewed holes in my wool sweaters and pulled branches off trees to play w/. I have never met another dog like him. (thank goodness)
Is your a chewer? Labs are so goofy for about 2 years IMHO. I hope you'll keep posting them. I really enjoy seeing All your Menagerie. And brush out that chow.lol Right.

He IS brushed out. That is as pretty as he gets. Even right from the groomer, he pretty much looked that way. Cowlicks or something.

Crash isn't a terrible chewer yet, or at least he seems to just chew the appropriate things. Riley chewed me out of house and home when he was growing up!DH aka Mad Hen

Oh be still MadHen I was ribbing you. I have a chow maliniose shepard mix and my DD "plucks " her constantly. Other than shaving them chows don't look "smooth" no way,no how. You should have seen the main on the "monster" of a chow that guarded our rescue. The hackles on your neck went up and you could sense when he was behind you. I respected that dog. He was something. And this from the girl that used to climb in the large pen w/ the pit, lab, shepard, saint and rotts loose. Dogs we just got out of the pound.

Thanks for posting 'news from the kids' MH.
Crash is going to be a pretty dog.......only glad I don't have to comb the chow.
(and I thought my Muff had 'nappy' hair that was horrible!)

FW2, I call him the anti-Chow. He is the sweetest dog ever. But he is kind of like a Rottweiler in how he protects me. He just stands between me and what he perceives as a threat and waits to see what will happen. Typically, the "threat" doesn't get any closer.

I have seen beautiful show Chow Chows that look like little fluffy balls of silk. Chewy always looks like something you'd find under your couch cushion.DH aka Mad Hen

Oh stop i can't breathe. Why are we so fond of these animals again?? My DD's dog is so fat we call her "log dog" and "pigpig". My beagle is such a goof he walks into things sniffing and my shepard knocks everything off and down w/ her tail. We the shepard gallops in the house she can't always stop and jars the heck out of you when she hits. We sing the "Baby Brontisauris song" when she's on a tare.

Yes, I call Riley my little "pit head," because his pitbull side shows most when he grins. He is a happy dog. Can you tell? Here is Riley in action.

Oh, I get it. You've said he was a pit before I forgot. He looks more lab but I see it. They can be such nice dogs. We used to deal in the mixes at the rescue. Poor things couldn't find homes because the pit people wanted pure and everyone else seemed afraid because they were part pit and a lot of places won't let you have one here. Then among the few who did, we were still UBER selective. He looks sweet.
