Wow, It's been 20 years since we had a kitten and they are crazy active. But they are really entertaining to watch. We always wanted to get a kitten as a companion to Lucy but weren't sure how she would have interacted with a little one. In time we are hoping these little ones will share some of the characteristics that so endeared us to Lucy.

I'm so glad you guys decided to bring two more sweet babies into your hearts and home, especially ones from a shelter. These shelter animals have so much love to give but not near enough 'forever homes and parents'...It truly takes special people to take in and adopt these precious animals...

Sorry for your loss. We found our maine coon cat dead on our back porch this week. He was shot. Of course we did not tell the kids(teen and adult) how he really died. They were so upset just telling them that we think he got hit by a car. They would have be devestated if we told them the truth. Dh buried him before anyone got home. I don't want another cat right now. I need time. Our cat was 8 yrs old and a big part of our family.

I am so sorry- we put down our 6.5 yo GSD this past winter when we discovered she had a nasty, aggressive from of uncurable cancer. She was our friend, our protector, our guardian, our love...I haven't any doubt she would have laid down her life to protect my hubby or I, or our kids. I am tearing up writing this, and you must understand- I BREED dogs (pugs) so it's not as if we have no canine loves in our house still (7 as a matter of fact). Yet none could ever replace or pale our love for our Lexi....I know your pain. I try to remind myself despite the tragic, unexpected end of her life, she had a good life with us- if her time were to be short on this earth, at least it was with us, who cherished her. Miss her every day. ---Hugs to you, may you find comfort in your memories----

So sorry for your loss. They are so much a part of the family, it's really incredible.
